About Micah

Micah O’Hare was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. After graduating from Grimsley, he attended Vanderbilt University, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and Mathematics, as well as a minor in Engineering Management. From there, he moved to Memphis, TN where he gained a Masters in Education, taught high school math, trained teachers, and served as an Instructional Coach for middle and high school teachers of Math, Music, Science, and Technology courses. During those years, Micah began to invest in real estate and manage his own portfolio. When an opportunity arose to move back to Greensboro, Micah became a Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative for a local Wealth Management firm.

Now as a real estate broker, Micah draws on his breadth of experience to better serve his clients as a patient educator, supportive coach, and trustworthy advisor. Micah understands his clients’ needs — he has bought and sold homes, moved his family across state lines, analyzed financing options, and bought, sold, and managed investment properties. A lifetime student, Micah is always learning new knowledge, skills, and tools for his craft and his clients. In addition to his work with Fairgreen Real Estate, Micah is also a commercial real estate broker with Greensboro Commercial Properties.

Micah is happily married to Virginia, whom he met at Vanderbilt. They are blessed with four wonderful children — a pair of older girls, Audrey and Charlotte, and a pair of younger boys, Oliver and Owen. As a family they love to laugh, sing and dance, read books, go on walks and rides, appreciate beauty in nature, and spend time with family and friends, including their church family. Micah loves to listen to music, play instruments, swim, play pickleball, toss a football, talk with great friends, watch basketball and football, sneak food while Virginia tries to get the family seated for dinner, and daydream about math.
